Should I register my kids?
Yes, register each person that will attend any of the event  (even toddlers in strollers).  This helps us plan for the day of the event. 

I have a family member who wants to join my team but cannot attend the walk.  Can they still join my team?
Yes, family members can still support you by joining your team and fundraising as a team member even if they are unable to attend. 

Some of my family would like to come, but not walk.  Do they need to register?
Please make sure to register each person that will attend any of the walk events (even if they do not walk). Our insurance requires each person participating be a registered participant.

Is there a fee to participate?
Yes.  Registration for walk participants is $15 per Adult (19+) or $10 per Child/Young Adult (18 and under).

Is there a late fee?
No.  We do not impose a late fee, but in order to be receive a T-shirt, you must register and pre-order by July 15, 2018.

What is the cut-off to register or join a team?
You can register online up to the day before the event.  Please have everyone register as early as possible.  Registration is also available on site the day of the event. To save time if registering on the day of walk, download and fill out the registration form (coming soon).   That said, it is always better to register online, preferably before July 15, 2018 (see below).

If I am registered, do I need to do anything else to be pre-registered?
No, if you are already registered online, you are all set. 

Is it better to register online or register the morning of the walk?
There are advantages to registering before the walk:.

  1. Registering before July 15, 2018 gives you the opportunity to receive a 2018 Walk T-shirt.

  2. Knowing how many people to expect will help us plan a better event for everyone.  We order all items based on how many people we have pre-registered for the walk. 

  3. Each person that registers will receive a webpage within the Autism Society of Nebraska Puzzle Walk website. This allows friends and family to donate directly to your online page. You can customize this page with photos and messages. 

***PLEASE NOTE*** 

For mailed donations to count toward fundraising and incentive prizes on Walk Day, mailed donations MUST be:

  • Received in Lincoln prior to 8/1/18, and
  • Recorded as an offline donation on your fundraising page prior to 8/1/18.

T-shirt & prizes CANNOT be mailed.  2018 Walk T-shirts, Fundraising & Incentive prizes MUST be picked up the day of the event.
