This event could not happen without many people gifting their time, talent and effort.  The Autism Society of Nebraska is very grateful to all those who volunteer to make this event something kids and families look forward to each year.  We cannot thank you enough.

To become a volunteer, please register and select "Volunteer" during registration. You can then select the area you would prefer to help in. We look forward to having you join us at our walk!

There are many different ways to help.  Please contact us at walk@autismnebraska.org with questions or requests.

I want to volunteer with a team.  Can I only register myself online and bring everyone else the morning of the walk?
We need each volunteer on the team registered so that we know how many volunteers to plan for and what areas need to be covered. We prefer to pre-assign areas and communicate that information to you prior to the walk.

Can I get community service hours logged for the hours that I volunteer?
Yes.  At the end of your volunteer shift, please go back to the volunteer information and check in table and speak to the Volunteer Coordinator or her designated Committee Member in charge. Your volunteer hours will be logged and signed on your community service form.

What time should I arrive and where should I go?
All registered volunteers will receive an email about a week before the walk with detailed information (directions, parking, where to go and what time be there, etc.).

Can my teenager volunteer with me?
Sure.  Please register your teenager as a volunteer. If you want to work in the same area together, notify us by contacting us at walk@autismnebraska.org.
